This Policy is published in compliance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 ("IT Act"), the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011 ("SPDI Rules"), and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.

By accessing or using RealtorDekho, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the platform immediately.

• Office address (optional)
• Languages spoken (optional)
• Social media profile URLs — Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube (optional)
• WhatsApp Business number (optional)
• Builder associations (optional)

2.2 Automatically Collected Information

When you visit our platform, we may automatically collect:

• IP address and approximate geolocation
• Browser type, version, and operating system
• Pages visited, time spent, and navigation patterns
• Referring URLs
• Device identifiers

2.3 Sensitive Personal Data or Information (SPDI)

Under the SPDI Rules 2011, certain information qualifies as sensitive. We do not intentionally collect financial data, passwords, biometric information, medical records, or sexual orientation. RERA registration numbers, while professional identifiers, are cross-referenced only for the purpose of verification.

• Profile creation and display: To create a publicly accessible, RERA-verified broker profile on RealtorDekho.
• RERA verification: To cross-reference your RERA number against publicly available data published by Maharashtra Real Estate Regulatory Authority (MahaRERA) and other state RERA portals.
• Communication: To contact you via WhatsApp and email regarding your profile status, platform updates, and onboarding.
• Platform operation: To maintain, improve, and secure the platform.
• Legal compliance: To comply with applicable Indian laws, regulations, and lawful government orders.
• Analytics: To understand how the platform is used and improve user experience.
• Marketing (with consent): To send promotional communications about new features or offerings. You may opt out at any time.

We will not use your information for any purpose other than those listed above without your explicit consent.

4. Disclosure of Information

4.1 Public Profile

Information you provide for your broker profile (name, city, areas served, agency, RERA number, specialisations, languages, social links, photo) will be publicly visible on your RealtorDekho profile page and may be indexed by search engines such as Google. By submitting this information, you expressly consent to such public display.

4.2 Service Providers

We engage third-party service providers who process data on our behalf under contractual obligations of confidentiality and security:

• Supabase Inc. — database and authentication infrastructure
• Vercel Inc. — website hosting and delivery
• Meta Platforms (WhatsApp) — communication delivery

4.3 Legal Disclosure

We may disclose your information to government authorities, law enforcement, or regulators if required by applicable law, court order, or regulatory direction, including under the IT Act 2000 and IT Intermediary Guidelines 2021.

4.4 No Sale of Data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their independent marketing purposes.

We retain your personal information for as long as your profile exists on our platform or as required by applicable law. If you request deletion of your account and profile, we will remove your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., for dispute resolution or regulatory compliance). Anonymised, aggregated data may be retained indefinitely.

In accordance with the SPDI Rules 2011, we implement reasonable security practices and procedures including:

• Row-level security on our database infrastructure

RealtorDekho is intended for professional use by RERA-registered real estate agents and brokers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18 years of age. If we become aware that we have collected data from a minor, we will delete it promptly.

11. Cross-Border Data Transfers

Your data may be stored and processed on servers located outside India (including by Supabase and Vercel infrastructure). By using our platform, you consent to such transfer. We ensure that such transfers occur with adequate safeguards in place.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. For material changes, we will notify registered brokers via WhatsApp or email.
